JUST when i was enjoying playing skyrim again my game develops a sudden catastrophic drop in frame rate that came out of nowhere and literally no fixes so far have helped

i got a mod that adds prehistoric extinct bison species to skyrim but the thing is the modder fucked up a bit and theyre EXTREMELY aggressive and will chase you down and kill you, which is awesome and what they deserve but does add a significant layer of difficulty
i love modding textures in morrowind bc its SOOOOOOO fucking easy to make just about anything look as good as vanilla game material (bc its low poly and low res) but its a double edged sword bc you can only do so much detail and have it come thru in gameplay
